Chronoboost: x3 Nexus, rest on Warp Gate until completion. x1 on Observer, x2 on Immortal
Consider building your structures close to your Nexus. This is called a "sim-city" style, and can help with defense in the early game.
Spread Pylons throughout your base to fully utilize the ability to warp in units from your gateways to defend. Just make sure you don't leave critical buildings, like Gateways and Robotics Facilities, powered by a single Pylon.
The Immortal (Left) will be your dps and tank in the early game. The Observer (right) will save you from any cheesy play, like Dark Templar or cloaked Banshees.
The purpose of this build is to provide a strong platform of attack and leave the mid-game open if you fail. Once your second Immortal is finished (around the 9:30 mark, if you are doing this nice and tight!). push your opponent really hard, using the observer to spot the high ground of his base. If you do not win, you have the ability to fall back and expand, tech up to Colossus, or go for another tech route. This build is exceedingly simple, and you can see here I have pretty much all the lines drawn out. After you feel comfortable with this build, feel free to experiment- do a 1-Gate Robo into 3-Gate Robo Timing Push, maybe add some stalkers in for some early game harass!
An instructional video on how to execute the 3-Gate Robo, as well as other tips about gameplay for you newer players out there, can be found on Page 4 of the Protoss Basics guide, or on the Other VODs page.
